| Portage Place is a beautiful, 4-level shopping and entertainment centre located in the heart of Winnipeg's downtown. Portage Place provides unique shopping and services to downtown residents and over 65,000 downtown workers. Opened in 1987, this multi-use facility houses 125 retail shops and services including the Entertainment Level, featuring Globe Cinema, IMAX Theatre and Prairie Theatre Exchange (live theatre).
